It was January 25th when I stood up after sitting for a half hour meeting at work. I knew something was wrong with my back because I could hardly walk. This was not good. My daughter was getting married on Saturday, January 30th. I had had problems once before with my back and I was expecting it to be the same problem. I called Main Line Spine and explained my dilemma. I got an appointment with Dr. Rowe, who helped me before, and scheduled an MRI.

MRI on Tuesday and a visit to Dr. Rowe on Wednesday unveiled a totally different and unexpected problem. On Monday, my family doctor prescribed a dose pack for pain so I was beginning to feel better. Dr. Rowe believed I would begin to feel discomfort by Friday as the medication came to an end.

He was right. I woke up at 3:30 AM on the day before my daughter’s wedding and could not walk. I called the office at 8:30 AM, had an appointment at 10:30 and was scheduled for an epidural injection at 2:30. I have never had so many people work so hard to get me back on my feet. I went to the rehearsal dinner than night, ice pack in hand and then on Saturday had the joy of not only walking my daughter down the aisle, but dancing with her at her wedding.

What a pleasure it is to know there are still medical practices that will go to great lengths to help those in need. I can’t say enough for the staff at Main Line Spine, but even more important, the expertise of Dr. Rowe was incredible.
